I get calls everyday from brokers wanting me to haul that stuff for $1.92 to 2.10 per mile that is horseshit. I already know one broker that has had his contract taken from him because you can not get truck to haul it for him gee I wonder why. just like last year by the time it's all said and done they will pay us round trip and paid close to $4 per mile but as of now the salt can sit in the piles hell with it. :)

For years the rates have been very stagnant and not impressive at all. Down here in NC, the locals go crazy when it snows and then complain when its slow coming.
