I'd check with several hopper manufacturers in SD, NE, Iowa, Ill....and see about moving new equipment to a customer or dealer. Or any trailer manufacturers anywhere along your route. I bought a new hopper in SD and pulled a new Utility reefer from VA to IA for a dealer. Didn't pay a whole lot but covered my fuel bill being as I had to go out there anyhow. Plus many of them may allow you the option to pick up a load and make a more profitable trip out. I was a little leery of that only cuz I didn't want to mess anything up that was new and I was on a schedule. I hope this helps...be safe and good luck.
