I am looking into getting into pulling hopper trailers i have two trucks. i am looking for brokers in the pacific northwest that might have trailers to pull or know of trailer leasing companies. i am based out of idaho and mainly looking for contacts (brokers/dispatcher) in that area or that have work in this area. Any information would be greatly appreciated as i am going to be new to this industry. Been hauling cattle and coming up on our slow season.
thanks in advance |

Myke,
Not sure if this is something that you would be interested in, but I do have walking floors sitting in Williston ND that need brought back to PA. These trailers are loaded with plastic film from the drilling industry. The liner is free of any oil residue, but will have mud on it. Idealy the trailers need to go back out to the point of pick up, but you would be free to use the trailer for your own gain headed back to ND. My problem is I have the tractor but I dont have drivers. Once the trailer is returned, they will load it again. I have at least 10 loads sitting on the ground right now and growing daily. Each load weighs between 33-40,000 lbs, sometimes more. Traditionally we get paid $.18 per pound, of course most of that would be yours, as long as we get something to help pay for the trailers since we would not be doing the hauling, maybe $.02-.03 per pound? Again, not sure if this is something you might concider, but if so, please feel free to email me or call. Scott Fought Ultra-Poly Corp. [email protected] 570-441-4374 |
