I have a W900L with a 12.7L 60 series detroit, 500hp, 13spd. Less than 50,000 on overhaul. Only problem is it has an aerodyne studio sleeper on it instead of what your wanting.

Is there any special reason you are choosing a w900L instead of any other truck. i was just wondering. They are a very nice truck and very high on quality. As a business man though i might go for the t600 or the t660 instead. you can still get all the same bells and whistles with these models and they are still built just as good and you will be saving money. Also you could shorten your wheel base this way and save money. one other thing is the suspensions on kw trucks will cost you a little more to have worked on. Don't get me wrong though they are very high in quality and i have owned them. Even drove some old k100 cabovers yeas ago for my dad. i would also steer toward peterbilt or international also. i own a 9400 internationl eagle right now and they are vey nice riding and lots of room. i also have two freightliner columbias. These two Freightliners are the biggest piece of JUNK!!!!!!!!!!! i have ever had the cabs are terrible on them.

I love my w900 but have to agree with a previous poster. I have a couple t800's and t660's and once you get inside them everything is identical. The only difference is the extra visability you get from the t series as well as a dramatic fuel economy increase. Being an owner op the look of the w9 is undisputable just like a long nose pete but trust me the fuel economy outways the novelty of a big long hood. When I first got started I had to have the big hood and tall stacks. 4 mpg later a c16 and studio sleeper didn't seem so practical. I am biased towards my kw's but own a few prostars as well with isx's and have to say I like those a lot too, especially for the low cost of maintenance. I know of an 06 w900l studio for sale nearby. If your interested feel free to contact me, it has a big cat.
