Your inner bridge is measured from the center of the axle behind the steering axle..such as a lift axle or front driver....to the center of the rear axle on the trailer..so if you have a 4 axle tractor you include the lift axle in part of the measurement...then total all axles included and the inter bridge length.. Go to chart..with a 53 ft trailer you shouldn't have any problems..best would be to talk to your commercial police officer...

We have the same problem 3 axle trucks and 53' belts. We have enough axles on the ground to do 98,000 lbs but can only bridge 96800 lbs. it's the same problem if you have a four axle tractor with a pusher Idaho says 106,000 but can only bridge about 102,000
you must have been pull over at the massacre rocks rest area to??
