I've received some offers from brokers on here to haul at lets say 'less than good' rates. Is the member load board worth it or is it the same 'ol same 'ol junk? Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Mark if I may this load board is more of a tool to use to meet people rather than get loads most everyone on here knows that load boards are very cheap bottom of the barrel I just use it to make introductions with brokers and some shippers and we go from there but for the most part people who use load boards such as this are broke before they know it actually before they even started. Even had a broker offer me a load from one of my regular customers for roughly half my rate. Had to politely remind them we are not a non-profit organization. I suppose it would be worth the membership fees to get my name out to a few more people. Thanks for the opinion.

I've had to deadhead across state lines more than a time or two to find something good. Personally I need to find customers who can keep me busy thru the weekend instead of sitting somewhere.

These guys look out for us members. They call me if they think I might be missing something. They call me if I'm getting out of hand on here. They call me for a lot of stuff. I call them for a lot of stuff. Jared has NEVER let me down. Sometimes we don't agree, but they support me. I have to repay that support by paying my membership. These guys can't support us for free. I don't go trucking for free. Try it for a year. I give you my word that you will not regrett it. Sorry Jason. Just my opinion. Art Pfluger

While I really typically agree with Jason, this time I will have to not. I feel that my membership is very valuable to me. I started with this site when it was totally free. When Matt and Jared told me it was going pay, I told them and everyone else sorry, but not my money. Jared called me, we had a chat, I held out. I paid up and have never regretted it. I'm serious. These guys look out for us members. They call me if they think I might be missing something. They call me if I'm getting out of hand on here. They call me for a lot of stuff. I normally look on the boards find where the freight is moving and 9 out of 10 times I get the stuff direct , thus my statement as using this for a tool. These brokers inadvertently (wow big word for a dumb trucker) have taught me how not to need them except for what I call gap loads. I have made some awesome relationships on here and learned quite a bit. Truck it up, whoop whoop. Lol

Art, I see your side and I will agree. I have been on here for about a year and this industry has taught me to basically be a hater, I don't like it that way but, anyway. For the price, it is a good deal. It is an excellent tool that will help you to know where to go and when to go there. You would spend a lot of time calling and checking out the situation but here you just log on and know.
