Minnesota DDGS

This was in regards to the 90,000/97,000# permit. I had always thought it was not covered and had to be hauled at a max gross weight of 80,000#. Anyone know much about this?

Ddg can be processed further, so its still somewhat raw, or maybe the state knows we can't make squat on 25 tons when that's all there is to haul. You still have to bridge it though. 51' rear to steer on 7 only gets to 89,500. Have to have a long wheelbase tractor for those 36' x" triples. Go to Red Rock or rail transfer 1 time and you will learn how awesome ddg in MN is.

Yeah Travis, with the short triples, it usually ends up being even less than 89,000. I don't think I want to go that route, We have some contract business and if we can go up to 97,000 it will make a difference on what we buy for trailers.
