The old coyote

As I sit here in Shawnee, OK out of the trees comes an old coyote. He hobbled across the parking lot, over to the dumpster, grabbed some scraps, and then hobbled back out into the brush. While I was watching him, I could not help but think that one day that may very well be me. Many people across this world can relate to the old coyote. People just want them to stay in the woods or brush and stay silent. They want them to only appear when they can not be seen by others. Their friends, families, and co-workers have forgotten they even exist most times. I am sure my fellow truckers can relate to the old coyote very well. Have a good nights hunt my old friend, I wish you the best, and am glad to have seen you still surviving when others would just wish you to disappear.

70 YEARS ROLLED AROUND WITH THANKSGIVINGS, WITH SOME SMALL PLANS OF CHANGES IN MY TRUCKING BUSY, NOTHING BIG . THE WEEK AFTER THE CHEMO STARTS AGAIN , DON'T FEEL AS GOOD AS I DID THEN.ICAN'T QUIT, BEEN DONING IT TO LONG, DON'T WANT TO RUN ALOT OF MILE , JUST ENOUGH TO SAY I CAN DO IT AGAIN. CALL ME THE OLD COYCOTE. STILL EATING. STILL ABOVE THE SOD.NOTE GOING AWAY ANY TIME SOON.JUST LIKE TO MAKE MY MARK AND STILL BE SEEN.

Hope all goes well with the Chemo treatments. Proud of you for still staying at it after all these years. Age is just in the head until our bodies tell us otherwise. God GOd bless you and yours through this trying time.

The ole song dog can be a lonely old soul at times. But he is also Wiley, he can eek out sustenance where most would starve. I think there may more parallels than meets the eye.
