They dont pay detention and have put companies with houry drivers out of business. It sounds good until you figure out that the direct company is like a bad broker always looking for cheaper trucks. Do not use the dispatch service on the forum either. they are charging 10 percent of gross to send you to a crap company to haul for.

We at Mid South Carbon are a trucking company and specialize in Frac Sand delivery to the Marcellus/ Utica Wells in WV/PA/Ohio (actually we are the largest privately owned trucking company in the state of West Virginia) check it out with the DOT. We have our own trucks working on Pneumatics and Container Sand daily with numerous O/O's working as well. We have 24/7 dispatch, two Truck Shop's / Yards fully staffed with mechanics, our own Wrecker Pack to retreive trucks that work for us when our Road Service cannot get them going again and require in shop repair, we have our own Sand Coordinators on some of the Wells we work that are exclusive Mid South truck only wells, we have Master Service agreements with the majority of the major Frack and Oil Companys. We do not broker trucks, we hire O/O to run under our authority. We have our own safety department with on site continuous training for drivers, and the list goes on to support our trucks and drivers in the field. Oh, we also have quick pay for our O/O's and most generally we have their loads settled and paid in 48 hrs of receiving their paperwork in the office. All paperwork is transmitted by electronic means direct to the office for settlement, so you dont have to wait for Fed Ex or UPS to deliver before you receive payment. I would be glad to have you talk with any of our owner operators or company drivers to ask them direct how they are doing and how they like working with Mid South. You do have to be careful of who you work for or sign on with as there are numerous folks trying to get into the market without any skin in the game, well we have skin in the game and if you would like to get on board with the Premeir Oil & Gas frac sand delivery company in the North East, then give Doug a call at 304-415-3818 cell.

A lot of the sand that comes in to the North East / Marcellus / Utica area does origionate in the Illinois area, withOhio, Wisconsin producing quality Frac Sand ,also, however, most of the sand is delivered by rail or barge to our area.
Some of the areas for Transload in our area are listed as follows:

On a side note Landstar is getting in on this work which is bad news. They hire crap for owner operators these days. Financially illiterate, cheap, crap drivers.
