New Dump Trailer

I am curious for some feedback on a couple of issues: What is the fuel MPG difference between a traditional sheet/post trailer vs. a smooth side dump trailer? And is there a significant weight difference between the two? I guess finally, of the gazillion opinions...what is some feedback as far as ruggedness and such. I am a experienced bucket guy but haven't had these newer smooth side buckets at all. Thanks for your time.

The smooth side is double wall won't see dings & load is not right up aginst the cold outer wall. What are you planning on hauling with it ?

I have had several sheet/post dump trailers. My PDI ecm program has yieled almost 6 mpg in my W900L. I would like to get past 6 and hoping a smooth side bucket might do it. The MVP Series was built for increased fuel mileage with the smooth outer panels, and with each panel being a different thickness, they designed them so the panels are evenly distributed for weight purposes and to increase payload capicity.
