Class A OTR Drivers Wanted

We are looking to add professional owner-operators to lease on with us at West Motor Freight.

In order to qualify with West Motor Freight, you must be at least 23 years of age, have one (1) year verifiable Class A commercial driving experience in the previous three (3) years, hold a valid Class A CDL from State of Residence and must be medically qualified with the appropriate DOT physical certification, do not have any drug/alcohol charges in the past five (5) years and have a good overall driving record.

If you don’t have your own tractor, we can help arrange leases on 2014/15 Freightliner Cascadias, 2014/15 International Pro Stars, and 2014 Volvo T670’s. The tractors come with two-year extended warranties. The tractors are located in Atlanta (GA). These are (typically) 42-month lease purchase agreements. The monthly payment is approximately $2150 a month with a down payment of $3000. At the end of the lease period, you own the truck! Bad credit, bankruptcy, tax liens and credit scores as low as 500 are OKAY! Credit repair is available. Other lease programs with lower down payments or newer trucks are also available.

You are NOT paid on a per mile rate! The payout is 75% of the rate and you receive the rate con for verification! West Motor Freight provides you with creditworthiness to obtain loads, help with dispatching, invoicing, accounts receivable, payroll, and provide access to the Fuelbook app (for significant fuel discounts), an EFS fuel card and inexpensive insurances. The settlements are weekly direct deposit on Friday. Orientations take place over the phone.

We do NOT force dispatch! You can obtain access to any load board and self-dispatch (or learn how to if you desire). We use several load boards (DAT and Truckstop, for example). You are NOT limited to West freight only. You decide where to run, when to run and when you want to be home. West Motor Freight runs all lower 48 states.

Your weekly deductions for a dry van is approximately $500 a week for the trailer rental, all insurances (truck, bobtail and accident), plates, ELD, IFTA and other minor expenses. A flatbed is approximately $580 a week. A step deck is approximately $650 a week. Fuel and tolls are your responsibility. You do receive access to the Fuelbook app for substantial fuel discounts. An EFS fuel card is also supplied.

You have your choice of what type of equipment you want to run. We have van, flat bed and step deck available for lease thru West. If you want to drive reefer, we can arrange a trailer lease independently. If you have a specialty trailer, we can work together. Power only is also an option! Teams are most welcome!
