Bad weather couseling

I think if he makes an eld inspired album, it should include Metallica as a guest band. That way you have music to represent the anger and anxiety. I handled the -34 degree temps ok, and the deep snow getting me stuck in yards regularly, but a snowbank ripping off my mudflap put me over the edge, marbles gone. On Tuesday I was carrying 3300 pounds of ice on the rig, I'd guess it's 5000 today. Anybody know what that groundhog had to say about winter?

I've reached the limits that I can tolerate so far this week, partially due to bad weather, and the rest is from a 12 second interaction with a dot officer. Southeastern Minnesota was not a good place to be on Monday, I had alot of miles of white knuckle driving on really slippery snow pack. Interstates were closed and state highways had 6-10 foot drifts near any trees, they punched holes through with v plows, and after a few hours of driving through these narrow paths and fearing that I might meet another semi and have to try to back 400 yards down an 8ft wide path I decided to shut down. Credit to the Minnesota hwy Dept, they blew snow all night and opened that road up.

Well I get out of that region yesterday and get into south dakota and weather and roads are fine until about 5 pm. A blizzard hits north of aberdeen. I watched a pickup pulling a livestock trailers jacknife in the ditch HARD. I stopped and asked if everyone was ok and luckily they were. I offered to stick around until help showed up and give them my flashing emergency lights to throw out because the trailer was still on the road. Well,lucky for me the scale at Frederick SD was open all day, and when those two boys shut down, they stopped by this accident, and walked up to us and the first words out of their mouth was "who's semi" "get out of here". Didn't ask if everyone was ok. Now granted that wasn't a butt chewing and luckily I didn't get a ticket or anything but it was a very rude tone.

Now Im a huge supporter of law enforcement. Especially now where it's so popular to hate them in the main stream media. I've got history with those two guys, they chewed me out for stopping to have a potty break beside a remote highway near Miller sd, and to their credit they have given me a break on an overweight situation in the past. But I'm tired of being talked to like a damn criminal by some of these dot people. I've never committed a crime. I hold doors open for people, I say please and thank you. Between dot and mother nature, I'm shutting down for a couple weeks to try to regain some marbles

Keep in mind DOT officers are state police academy drop outs or they didn't make the grade. So they get tossed into dot enforcement. Now look out everybody they gave me a badge and a gun. Kinda freaks me out.
