Seems that if you arent a broker/shipper, a call back on doing work with certain borker/shippers is non existent. Is that true? We run consistent lanes, but sometimes fill in loads can be scarse. How do you get places with posted loads to work with you?

You keep calling and calling. So many people won't pick up a phone if they don't recognize a number because of all the telemarketing scams. Leave messages. Most telemarketers can't leave a message. We went to an answering machine set up recently and cut our telemarketer calls by nearly 90% instantly. I know telemarketers have a job to do but when you are trying to do your own job they are a total pain in the butt. Keep calling and leaving messages. Eventually you break the barrier down. Another thing I have noticed is that so many people have come to only responding to texts and e mails. Kind of a pain in the butt as well if you don't know the person's e mail address or phone number. I guess folks are afraid to talk to one another and can only communicate if hidden behind a text or an e mail. Personally I prefer to hear the person's voice. Comes from being around so long I guess.
