Unfortunately, we do not have any asset hopper trucks, which is why I am reaching out to you guys to partner with. I am not apart of the asset division, strickly brokerage. I'm just looking for a carrier to partner with, make some money, make a carrier money and help my customer move these loads.

The problem with our low freight is that all these dryfrieght brokers think they can cut into our world. No different than TMC or TQL trying to be our brokers, cheap.

here's a ?, if a farmer sells grain to elevator, and the elevator turns around and sells it t o feedlot, can that farmer legally haul that load on just farm tags ?

I think the only way the farmer could take that load to the feed lot is if the Farmer sells the load to the Elevator but in the it states to deliever the load to the feed lot

As long as the grain is still on the farm The farmer can deliver it to the feedlot with farm tags however the farmer cannot pick up Grain at the elevator and deliver it to someone else's feedlot with farm tags

Dont like the fact , and have a bad gut feeling on this ad from J.B. Hunt. Dont trust it. Looks like a step in the direction for them to develope a hopper bottom division. If you think our rates are low now, wait till JBHunt starts showing up at harvest seasons, elevators and ports. There will be nothing left for O/O. JB Hunt has the deep pockets to shut us all down. Its frustrating enough to deal with the brokers who expect us to run @$1.00 to $1.40 pm...doing the math comes to $50K means we have to drive 50K miles...equals less than a company drivers wage. So if you think it can' get worse, wait till JB Hunt shows up.

I am a single truck with a hopper trailer 2016 Kenworth and 2016 Tempe trailer 43’x72”x102”. I’m out of Sparks Nevada but I run mid west 3 weeks at a time. I’m interested in hearing about it. Not sure if you’re willing to run my single truck. But my brother also has the same setup as I do we would both do it just need details.

I cant believe you guys, you get on here and cry about the TQL's and the C.H.Robinsons,and the likes, and then J.B.Hunt comes on here and you trip over each other running to them.Do you not realize if they can't move the stuff the shipper will find somebody else to move it.Remember big fish eats little fish,as long as you enable these people you will end up being the little fish!!!!!!!!!!

All the CHEAP DRIVING JOBS (like JB Hunt..who charge shippers $4.00 to $9.00 pm), who turn around and higher any bodies to put behind a windshield and pay .50 cpm...make millions, ok we all know that, but we also have witnessed JB Hunt put together their flatbed and tanker division. And we all know what happened to those OO and small trucking businesses .....now JB Hunt is putting together their hopper division.... IRS bad enough we have PEOPLE from all over the world coming to the USA and taking alot of trucking jobs away from working class AMERICAN families, ( and if the tables were turned for any other COUNTRY , that country would have something to say too)., but it's just gets really tough to deal with and except. when the middle class working man in America is being destroyed from within our country....we should resist as much as much as we can, but never contribute to their (JB Hunt) success of destruction .....and btw, all their wrecks and fatalities affect our commercial insurances

So everyone stop and think, corporate carriers started mostly with dry van freight. They then expanded into other areas of the industry cutting rates and putting small carriers and independents out. There profit margins are 3-7cpm. If they see they can drive into another mode of transportation they will do it. Flatbed is the most recent to demonstrate this fact, yet we sit back and allow it to be repeated. Just a humble observation.

Can you drag in from SD at 96/97? I load out of Fairmont at 96 back into Iowa. Did not know if I could haul heavy in. MN sure is proud of those permits anymore. Getting to be scary dollars anymore with with Neb, KS, OK and Colo permits to.
