Why is it in the bulk loads it’s such a game. In general frieght loads are posted with the rate! No calling or emailing to end up in an argument why you need a certain rate! Brokers should have to post a rate when they post a load!

I agree, if the broker was proud of their rate it would be posted. If the rate isn't posted it's telling me there's plenty of room for negotiation.

I agree 100% They don't because they are trying to get rich on every load. This just happened to me. One broker call and offered me 1000 dollars to move a load. I told him no because I didn't want to be bothered with the customer. The rate was acceptable. He called back the next day and offered me 1800 for the same damn load. I run a pneumatic and the load was around 50 miles. I bit my tongue and moved the load. The receiver was desperate for the load and had to wait an extra day because the broker wanted the lionshare for himself. Moral of the story....Money talks bull💩 walks.

If it was easier to out the bad brokers that rip WAY to much off the top on this forum maybe some of the bad ones would back off. I really love the brokers posting a shitty rate and the next post is the shipper posting same load. Same with asset based brokers that expect you to compete with their equipment. The whole broker thing is a mess. And yes there are GOOD brokers. They are not TQL or Watco supply and others. Long list Art Pfluger

It would be nice to know exactly what they are making off us. There’s loads that are dying to move and you can’t get them above 4/mile!

You call for the rate. They look up what it moved for last time. I don't care what someone else moved it for...what are we trying to move it for NOW?? Then they wanna split hairs over $50-100 🙄
