My truck came with National seats. I think they were the Admiral series. Very adjustable and comfortable. When i needed a replacement, I wanted the new one to match the passenger, so I ordered the replacement from Peterbilt. If I remember correctly, it was about $1,500-1,600.00.

I have silver legacy seat from SEATS INC. I get them from freightliner. Ultra leather. Hold up very well. I think there around 650-700. There is a gold series for a lot more money. Would be interested in the seat that minimizer fenders has but haven't run across one to try. Art Pfluger

I have a minimizer seat right now . Its the ultra leather, no heat or massage . Has more adjustment than I use . Neat thing about it is that you can adjust shock setting from soft to firm also you can dump all air before you climb out so it is down when you climb back in.

The gray milk crate was easy to find. Unfortunately the colored bungee cords were a no go. So i just hooked a couple of black ones together and called it good. I actually have a Legacy seat on my driver side and no seat in passenger, actually saving that seat for the next one i need. Good luck on your search.

I have a legacy gold and I don't think it has held up well. My Bostrom was way to hard and stiff. The legacy bottoms out on rough roads. The leather arm rest wore out and the arm rest adjuster doesn't work right. Also a sewn seam across the back split open. I will buy a Sears seat next.

You sit on it with a bungee strapped across your lap so you stay seated no matter what. Im thinking about putting some snap rings on it for quick disconnect/connect.

I have Knoedler Air-Chief. Almost 5 years old. They have held up well. I ordered them through a wholesale company in Michigan. Lots of options. I think 11-12 hundred bucks in 2016.

Seat Specialists. They sell several brands.

You brought back some good memories, back in the mid 60s i would ride with my grandpa. He drove for Hood milk he did home delivery he drove an old divco which only had one seat so i would sit on a wooden milk creat ( no bungee cords) which were very much needed because both doors where always open. My job was to keep the milk iced and case the empty bottles. Those where some of the best summers i got a lot of time with him.

If you cut one end out of the milk crate and sit inside of the milk crate you will have a seat with a back rest and also arm rests.
