Trucks Needed - Donated Hay from SC to NE Flood Victims!!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Members of the Young Farmer and Rancher group with SC Farm Bureau need assistance sending donated hay to the flood victims in Nebraska. We delivered 2 loads last week where farmers lined up waiting on the trucks to get there and they ran out of hay before everyone waiting got some.

We have 6 more tractor-trailer loads of donated hay ready to go, but are in need of trucks with flatbeds or step decks willing to take it. The loads will pick up in Blackville, SC or Lexington, SC and need to deliver to Fullerton, NE.

There is money set aside to help with fuel costs as needed but we are hoping to find a couple of trucks willing to make the trip at minimal cost considering the situation.

There is also a fund set up with SC Farm Bureau to accept monetary donations to cover the fuel and other expenses of those making the trip. If anyone would like to donate to that it would be greatly appreciated! It needs to be sent to the following:

Look up farm rescue and maybe they can line up trucks as well. They have a small fleet of their own but they are bringing alot of ND hay down so may not be able to spare the rigs. Do you have an email address I can send a phone number to? Maybe the farm rescue people can coordinate with you

What you are doing is great. It's hard to make this volunteer stuff work. Look up farm rescue and maybe they can line up trucks as well. they're coming back they're coming back from California and are getting unloaded sometime over the weekend with some machinery for a power plant somewhere I want to say around North Myrtle Beach Inland a little bit so they should be right there somewhere
