There is know such thing as a back haul. we can't buy back haul fuel, back haul tolls, back haul insurance and so on and so forth. so why do we need to haul at a back haul rate. it's something made up by big corporate companies. Just because we reload somewhere doesn't mean we are heading back to the house. That's all I have to say about this and it is my own opinion. I'm sure there will be someone who will disagree me and that's ok. keep on truckin and be safe out there.

Something odd about this fellah .. Help Us help you more like it.. Im a Broker and Trucking Company Owner, Ive been in this game for 15 years on both sides, we must work for the owner op and bring back profesionalism. Offering back hauls on a load forum shows lack of knowledge and your looking for a bulls eye target from the owner ops. This is why most brokers have to defend themselves to carriers for the thousands of un ethical hungry so called brokers ripping owner ops off. It has to stop. And once again Mr Marvin there is absolutly no such thing as back haul. The word was created by un ethical brokers looking to box in carriers who needed a load to go home. Drop off and pick up is all the same. Forward, Backward, or side to side, trucks still cost the same to operate.

LOL. My truck made 5.7 mpg on this last quarter. Not impressive but point is it doesn't make 10 mpg on backhauls and this is all miles for the quarter
