State authorities have handed down more than $700,000 in fines to two Newark-based trucking companies for illegal dumping. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection announced Wednesday that Sinai Trucking and Keila Transport were both busted for setting up illegal solid waste transfer stations in Sussex County, then using those stations to pass off solid waste as clean dirt and sell it to unsuspecting customers. |
