DNR helps trucker trapped in semi with intimidating ‘hawk’

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI – A trucker recently received an unwelcome visitor while traveling down a Michigan highway. According to an official report, the incident occurred in late October when Tom Peterson, a conservation officer in DNR District 9, responded to a call indicating a man was trapped in the cab of his semi-truck The hawk apparently flew through the open window of the driver’s side of the truck as it traveled down the highway at 65 mph.
