EPA glider truck probes delayed until late summer

Investigations into glider truck kit regulations initially expected to be completed in early 2019 will not be ready until later in the summer, FreightWaves has learned. Results of the inquiries could determine the extent to which glider kits are federally regulated, with millions of dollars in investment on the line for glider kit manufacturers that provide the revamped trucks for independent truck operators.
