FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - As many people were sleeping, some overnight workers and semi drivers were trying to make it to their destination. Drivers were met with blowing snow and dangerous drifting. A trucker from Kalamazoo, Michigan told ABC21 his regular hours-long commute turned into a 5-hour slog through the snow. He barely made it to Indianapolis overnight. "I took five hours off down there because you couldn't see the roads. Visibility was almost zero. And the only way I knew I was on the road because I hit the rumble strips," Semi driver Richard Nardone said.
