Marco Perez Jr., 37, used his company, Permian Basin Proppants, Inc., between 2017 and 2022 to perpetuate a Ponzi scheme by soliciting investor money based on misrepresentations, according to a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office Western District of Texas.
