PennDOT officials Wednesday said they plan to reopen at least 13 of the highway rest stops that were closed in an effort to contain the coronavirus outbreak facing the nation. The decision to reopen the rest stops, which should have never been closed in the first place, was made after truckers and politicians came together to fight the irrational choice to restrict available parking for truckers who are transporting goods throughout the state.
