Davenport, IA-based River Valley Cooperative has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of Michlig Grain Holdings LLC, the company announced in a recent release. The company manages seven commercial grain elevators in Illinois. Michlig Grain has 30 employees and operates in Deer Grove, Manlius, Bradford, Sheffield, Cambridge, Mineral, and Broadmoor. The company has been in operation for four decades.
