A bill intended to regulate commercial elevator lifts in buildings and other structures is under the watchful eyes of the Kansas grain industry – concerned the legislation’s wording could impact Kansas’ countless grain storage facilities.

A hearing on House Bill 2356 was Feb. 3. If approved, it would establish the Elevator Safety Act and the Elevator Safety Review Board.
