A Bristol resident has won $1 million after her Mega Millions ticket correctly matched the first five numbers of the Mega Millions drawing from December 29th.

According to Illinois Lottery officials, 55-year-old Tammy Rosenwinkel purchased the ticket at the Jewel Osco store on Orchard Road in Oswego.

Rosenwinkel has lived in Bristol for 34 years. She is married with three children and two grandchildren. Rosenwinkel and her husband plan to invest the money in their grain farm.

Since Jewel Osco sold the winning ticket, the store received a bonus of $10,000, which is one percent of the prize amount.
