Cummins profit misses estimates; flags slowing truck demand

(Reuters) - U.S. engine maker Cummins Inc on Wednesday reported lower-than-expected quarterly profit and forecast full-year sales below analysts’ estimates, raising concerns of a slowdown in sales of heavy-duty trucks in North America, its biggest market.

Did it ever occur to Cummins that it may not only be a slow down in truck orders but the fact thast the new Cummins engines are nothing but problems costing consumers thousands of dollars in down time a lost revenue.
