The National Grain and Feed Association along with the American Feed Industry Association are partnering on a project to help the industry comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act. The groups have contracted with the University of Minnesota to develop guidelines aimed at helping animal feed, feed ingredient and pet food facilities cost effectively come in line with the Act’s requirements. NGFA Vice President of Feed Services Dave Fairfield they’re developing a generic hazard analysis.
