Major trucking company goes into liquidation

Thousands of presents could be stuck at depots this Christmas after truck drivers from a major freight company were told their employer had gone into liquidation. Drivers from Redstar Transport have been told to return their hauls to the nearest facility, and interstate workers have been told to return home. The Transport Workers Union is pushing the federal government to offer some compensation for the workers who will not receive their pay this Christmas.
