Officials with MFA Inc. have announced plans to build a multimillion dollar grain-handling facility in Caldwell County.

The grain marketing and farm supply cooperative — based in Columbia, Missouri — will participate in the joint venture with MFA Oil Co., which is a farmer-owned energy supply cooperative. The estimated $27 million to $28 million shuttle-loader facility will be built on Union Pacific Railroad track, about 5 miles east of Hamilton, Missouri.
