Smart Sand strikes frac sand deal for new North Dakota rail asset

United States-based miner Smart Sand has signed a multi-year deal to supply frac sand through its recently acquired rail terminal in the state of North Dakota.

Smart Sand did not announce the counterparty or the volumes specified in the agreement, which is structured on a take-or-pay basis.
