ST. LOUIS — The National Agricultural Statistics Service has issued its Illinois Crop Progress and Condition Report for the week ending June 16. There were 4.8 days suitable for fieldwork during the week ending June 16. Statewide, the average temperature was 66.2 degrees, 5.7 degrees below normal. Precipitation averaged 1.48 inches, 0.50 inches above normal. Topsoil moisture supply was rated at 2 percent short, 62 percent adequate, and 36 percent surplus. Subsoil moisture supply was rated at 2 percent short, 57 percent adequate, and 41 percent surplus.
