She was very polite and patient in answering all the questions I asked, and didn't just try to get our conversation over to get on to the next call. That means alot to me as I remember working with agents before there was so much done by email and text. It sounded to me like they are a pretty professional outfit that really understands this business and their customer base. People like that are a breath of fresh air if you've ever had to deal with the megabrokers who can only tell you what it says on the screen in front of them.

I haven't hauled anything for them yet, but I did call Sheri the other day to get set up. She was very polite and patient in answering all the questions I asked, and didn't just try to get our conversation over to get on to the next call. Everyone has an opinion and can justify it. I have nothing but respect for those who have managed to stay in business doing things the way they do. I know I get harped on by alot of the people on this site but I have a lot of respect for ANYONE who can stay in this business and make money. My advice would be to keep asking people just like you're doing. I know from experience Eclipse has never done me wrong, I run truck as well, I'm also a broker and use them semi-regularly and have no complaints. Thats my $.02 before taxes.

Tom, as I'm sure you've realized there is a wide array of opinions about Eclipse from the guys who claim they cvan't make any money at $2/mi to the ones who can. Everyone has an opinion and can justify it. I have nothing but respect for those who have managed to stay in business doing things the way they do. I know I get harped on by alot of the people on this site but I have a lot of respect for ANYONE who can stay in this business and make money. My advice would be to keep asking people just like you're doing. I know from experience Eclipse has never done me wrong, I run truck as well, I'm also a broker and use them semi-regularly and have no complaints. Thats my $.02 before taxes.

Our dedicated dispatch is set up so the carrier doesnt have to take the time to look for loads. Our dispatchers work to find all loads and have a goal to have it booked and ready to go with little to no down time between loads. Some call that forced dispatch and if this is what you are looking for please give me a call at 402-223-2411. Pay is every Friday with receipt of paperwork by Tuesday. Fuel cards available with no additional fees from us to use them, and are deducted from your settlement. One dispatcher to work with your truck. We also have hopper trailers for rent if needed. Its a great program for those looking for a way to minimize the down time in looking for loads and maximize the time truck is running. Our other option is the Brokered loads. A carrier can log onto our web site and look at loads or call in and speak to one of our brokers. If we have a load that fits your needs we will work to get that load booked for you, but its the carriers decision. In addition, once a carrier is set up as an approved carrier, we can add you to our emails or other notifications on available loads. As for rates, you might see a wide variety but again its your choice as a brokered carrier.
