Jason, to much product on the ground. With the export problems that are going on the price of grain is falling, therefor making the price of moving it fall as well. This is effecting all avenues of freight to include our dry vans as well. Right now it is just hold on tight, be picky about your loads, and make sure you are saddled up with good shippers that are solvent and can pay. There are a lot of mills going down right now because they can't export the excess grain that they are holding. I am sure that you are seeing what I am seeing, there are still corn and bean piles tarped up and not being moved. Just had a couple of guys join me and I warned them that it was going to be slim pickin's and that they better be patient between loads or they would end up running for nothing. One guy listened the other guy not. Which one do you think is going to fail?

well if you would like my contact info is on my profile. I wish I could see the good loads. Everything I am getting offered is around 1.40 to 1.70. Per mile for all miles. I can't seem to find any good loads. I haven't turned a wheel since last thurs. This is extremely nerve racking. it is so hard to try and drive and pick freight. The last 3 weeks I averaged 1.51 per mile for all miles. Living by chicago I would think it would be better.
