I am looking at a wilson hopper for sale with stainless sides. Does anyone have any info on these trailers? Does it weigh more than aluminum sides is what im really trying to find out.

My son had a Tempte Stainless trailer 42' 102" and it weighed 400 lb more than my 42' 96" and it was a beautiful trailer.

Aluminum trailers are going to weight quite a bit less than a steel trailer - less weight means more bank.

A 42' Jet Steel grain trailer weighs 9,905 lbs. However, a jet aluminum 42' grain trailer weighs 8,175 lbs.

My apologies, I was just pointing out that anytime you add steel to a trailer it add weight. We pull a aluminum cornhusker and have a 95 International 9200 and we come across the scales at approximately 27,500 lbs with about 100 gallons of fuel on.
