What's killing us are the oil patch boys. When they ran out of work they've hooked on to whatever trailer they can rent on credit and pulling any product for fuel and eats.

How many miles do you have to run to clear a $3100 Pete payment at $1.50 to $1.75 per mile and deadbeat back. I can't see it but they can.

Last year I was running Houston to Birmingham for $2300+FSC. The oil patch kids have beat the rate down to $1100 and wait in line to get a load of it. I can't believe how they jump up and down to work for nothing

Used to have a run from Houston to Nebraska last year & get a load coming back to Fort Worth $5,600.00+FSC Round trip, Now have been beat down to $2,800.00 round trip all in! I mean really where is the bottom. Cant run local, Regional or Over the road to make any money anymore, Truly sad!

I've had 3 chemical supply companies in the valley call last week for rates. Something might be fixing to crank off again.
