FREIGHT AGENTS/DISPATCHER

Position Duties: Looking for direct freight accounts using load boards already existing customers/direct shippers IS PREFERRED) Experience with Load Boards Ability to negotiate the best rates Dispatch drivers after finding loads for them Help drivers solve issues that happen while OTR Make sure trucks are covered, and have loads at all times Making sure drivers understand what is required of them on each load Making sure drivers can make on-time pick and delivery Making sure drivers have enough hours on their log book to safely complete loads on time. Knowledge of over weight/ over sized permits -MUST Have Minimum of 1 year of FREIGHT Dispatching experience Other Qualifications Understanding DOT regulations for semi-trucks. Possess strong communication and negotiation skills and be able to work under pressure Negotiate Rates to Customers and Brokers and lock in the best rates to maximize profit-Basic computer proficiency, i.e. load boards, email, transportation programs Being on time, prompt, and prepared on a daily basis Excellent multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills Job Type: Full-time - WORK FROM HOME POSITION - YOU CAN LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE US AND WORK FROM HOME FOR THIS POSITION
