Department of Transportation release roadwork schedule starting Monday

The state Department of Transportation has announced area roadwork, starting Monday. Montgomery County ∫Town of Fort Hunter: Route 5S between Fort Hunter Road and Hill and Marks. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations. Fulton County ∫Town of Caroga: Route 10 between Route 10A and Route 8. Motorists will encounter lane closures with flaggers in place due to the removal and installation of guiderail. ∫City of Johnstown: Route 30A between Briggs Street and Townsend Avenue. Motorists will encounter north- and southbound lane closures with flaggers in place due to the installation of new drainage structures. ∫Town of Ephratah: Route 29 between Route 10A and County Highway 119. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations. Hamilton County ∫Town of Inlet, Hamlet of Raquette Lake: Route 28 between Eagle Bay and Raquette Lake. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to pavement rehabilitation. ∫Town of Arietta: Route 8 between Old Piseco Road (County Highway 24) north and south. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with temporary signals at each bridge due to the rehabilitation of the Route 8 bridge over Piseco Lake outlet, Route 8 bridge over Sheriff Lake outlet and Route 8 bridge over Rogers Brook. ∫Town of Wells: Route 8 in the area of Old Route 30. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with a temporary signal due to pavement repairs. This information is also available at www.511ny.org.
