The “super load” – a 217-foot-long vehicle hauling an industrial dryer, with a total weight of 628,000 pounds – is 20-feet wide, so traffic is unable to pass it. As a result, traffic was backing up on I-80 . Crews are working to pull the vehicle to the side to allow one of the two eastbound lanes to be reopened but there is no time estimate when this might be accomplished, said Marla Fannin, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson.
