California Plans Nation’s First Electric Truck Mandates

California air regulators want to force a wave of cleaner trucks onto the road by requiring that half of all medium and heavy trucks sales be for zero-emission vehicles by 2030. If adopted by the California Air Resources Board, the regulation would be the first of its kind in the nation.
