Farmers are one step closer to having a new trade agreement with Canada and Mexico. The U.S. House of Representatives passed the USMCA agreement this week, which would replace NAFTA. Farmers in our area say there have been problems with the "North American Free Trade Agreement" for years. The hope is this new agreement will make trade between the three countries more fair and help farmers' pocketbooks.
