MIAMI — Go drive to Miami, Oklahoma, and gaze upon an anomaly rarely seen on the Great Plains — a newly painted grain elevator. Or almost newly painted.

“We painted it just a few years ago,” says Gary Beachner, CEO of Beachner Grain located in Parsons, Kansas. “It was very expensive, but the facility was turning gray and not looking good.”
