Livestock hauler refuses to stop for vegan protester blocking road

A vegan protester says that she was injured after a very close encounter with a semi truck driver hauling livestock. In a now-viral video shared on September 4, animal rights protester Kat Howard is holding a sign that says “Everyone Deserves To Say Goodbye” as she stands outside of a Olymel meat processing plant during an August 19 protest event. As a truck driver hauling pigs approaches the plant, Howard appears to be struck by the truck as she stands in its path.
