We are looking for a couple of pneumatic trucks and trailers to haul lime around 5 days per week (M-F) from Gastonia, NC and the surrounding market that will cover up to 150 miles. The average load will be around 24 tons per load. The average rate for the short hauls will be around $18-$20 per ton, plus fuel surcharge based on our fuel surcharge (December 35.5%) and the longer hauls will be around $40 per ton plus fuel for up to a 150 miles one way. This will be on a per ton bases.
