RFQ - ETA 7/17 - Food Grade Bulk Liquid - Orange Juice Vessel - Port of Tampa to Auburndale, FL

Hey everyone!

I have an opportunity for work in the Tampa, FL area. A lot of bulk liquid folks out here might be familiar, but this is an OJ vessel. Please see details below and post if you are interested, I will happily discuss further details!

• Vessel scheduled to begin offloading on JULY 17th
• Food-grade kosher wash required every 72 hours per JPA guidelines
• LOADING: vessel berthed at Port of Tampa
• OFFLOADING: Auburndale, FL
• Both ends run 24 hours a day
• Allowed as many trips per day as you can manage
• Duration is estimated 4-5 days straight of nonstop loading/offloading
• Light/heavy scales at port and offload station

I want to be as transparent as possible with carriers. I have run several of these and learned some things along the way. Almost all of our trucks get 2 loads/day, but there have been times they can only get 1 load per day. Everyone tries to rush the gate at the start of the project, which can create congestion and slow everything down. Running during night seems to be quicker but obviously that is your decision. There will be loads that go quickly, and some that require some time spent in line waiting with everyone else. These companies generally do not pay a lot of detention because they have no way of tracking. These vessel operations are not for everyone, but it is work for someone who might need it, and we are averaging about 2 vessels per month right now (several of them going 7-8 days straight).
