The mother of a young actress killed by a hit-and-run dump truck driver is pleading with the driver to come forward. Cristina Oprea tells the New York Post that she wants justice for her daughter, 21-year-old Roxana Sorina Buta. Buta was headed home to East Harlem from her job as a waitress early Thursday when she was hit by the truck at Union Square. A police officer called Oprea with the devastating news that her daughter was dead. Oprea says the driver hit Buta and kept on going.
