Timber Truckers provide light amidst a cold winter night

Santa Claus in an outhouse, Max on the back of the Grinch, semi-tucks covered in Christmas lights and more had family and friends in John Day celebrating the holidays. Jingle Bell Rock kicked off the Timber Truckers Parade on Dec. 14 with a variety of drivers cruising on Main Street. Vehicles at the event represented four different categories: farm and ranch, timber, commercial and community.

Trucker reunited with lost cat after 4 months: 'It's my Christmas miracle'

(Meredith) - Four months after a truck driver lost his 3-year-old cat, the adventurous duo is back on the road -- all thanks to a microchip and a thoughtful stranger. Lollypop Farm, the Humane Shelter of Greater Rochester, New York, shared the heartwarming story on social media last week. According to the shelter, a woman spotted the lost feline at a Love's Travel Stop in Ohio. She made a pit stop there in October while moving from the West Coast to the Rochester-area.
