A Maryland man has pled guilty to fraud charges after he allegedly rerouted and stole more than 1000 payment checks from trucking companies as part of a double brokering scheme. On September 26, 43 year old William Francis Hickey III pled guilty to two federal wire fraud charges relating to a scheme that took place between May 2016 and January 31, 2019.

ELKHART, KANSAS, U.S. Scoular Co. and Elkhart Cooperative on Sept. 25 announced a partnership that will create an additional 2 million bushels of grain storage space. Elkhart Cooperative, which operates 11 locations in Southwest Kansas, Colorado, and Oklahoma and already handles over 10 million bushels a year, said it needed more space at its Elkhart facility and worked with Scoular on a solution.
