BLACK BOXES..YES OR NO?

Again the Feds want to have the trucker BUY an on board recorder..they claim it's for safety..Really? How about CONTROL..Think of this... You could be speeding in Utah, and a DOT cop in California can write you a ticket.. This has nothing to do with safety..that is a code word that can be used to get your way.. Example.. You want off.. Ohhh it's unsafe for me to drive..The employer doesn't want to be sued if you just happen to get in an accident...so they give you the time off. Or like Schneider want this,so they have a more competitive edge over the small companies..you drive 65, Schneider wants their trucks to go slower..So you can deliver faster..It has nothing to do with fatiuge..or safety ..it has todo with trying to get rid of the competiition...they have tried to break the little guy with lobbying politicians over all of these mandates, starting years ago with things like no radar detectors, and all of these mandates for clean air and CARB in California with their mandates... Who do you think comes up with these ideas? The politicians? There again code words like clean air, Who doesn't want dirty air.. That one has over the years cost you about 40,000 bucks or better..have you noticed cleaner air? Didn't think so..and in January 2013 California will start cap and trade.. Where diesel is expected to be a 6 dollars a gallon.. And overdrive magizine claims 618,000 driving jobs lost...will you be able to afford to jump through all of the hoops to go there? Big. Companies have the man power to do it...well there goes more competition..Heck we may as well just reregulate, and like the old days work for a big company..at least we will make money..
